Garden Views

As you know, I love taking black & white photographs! So, on my recent visit to Florida, in beautiful green gardens, with multicoloured flowers in bloom - yep, I was shooting black & white! (Okay, I admit, I took some colour pictures, too. If you're interested, I've posted some on my Prairie Dreams blog - see the link at the right.)

These were taken in the Sunken Gardens at St. Petersburg and two Botanical Gardens in Tampa.

I loved the shapes of these plants:



Neat shapes on these palm trees, too. (I think they were banana palms/trees.)

I enjoy Japanese gardens, and was pleased to find a small one. There were also some small water gardens that felt very Asian to me.
